Rug Hooked Santa

I am working on a Rug Hooked Santa doll.
This will be a two sided Windy Santa doll. His robe is flowing in the wind.
I hope to make it free standing.
It will have a front and a back side.

Wonderful dark rich earth tone reds and blues.
He has a roving beard and mustache.

Looking forward to sharing this will everyone.

Rug Hooked Fairy Tale Purse

* Rug Hooked Little Red Riding Hood Purse *

The Big Bad Wolf is peeking around the tree stalking poor Little Red Riding Hood. She has been to grandma's house and is on her way down
the path that leads to the forest. She has her basket in hand with her red and white cloth covering laid over it.

What a unique one of a kind Hand Hooked Purse. This would look loving in any decor. You could also use this for a light duty purse.
The front of this purse is hand hooked with hand dyed wool strips in gorgeous colors. One Eighth inch wool strips have given
great detail to this Little Red Riding Hood purse.

Finished Hooking Yippy

I finally finished hooking my Big Hug Rug. It is not bound yet because I am not going to do that until I decide whether it will be going on a wall or the floor.

Built this snowman during our big storm last week.

Doing the Happy dance here

My BHR challenge is finally all hooked. I am so glad this is all hooked. Have to go over the backside and check things there. I did notice a few loops had pulled back through. I am going to wait til next summer to do the binding on this rug. I am not sure what I want to do with it. It will probably go on a wall someday. But I am not sure. I am just so happy that I finished hooking it. I never take on time consuming projects. Will get a new picture and post it here.

Bliss Model A Repair

Many of you know that my Bliss model A cutter broke. But I have to tell you this.
I can not speak any higher of the service I received from Fraser. My machine is already on it's way back to me. Lois corresponded quickly and answered all my emails quickly. I am very pleased. She even repaired a few things on my machine that she saw for no extra charge. Maybe I will reach my goal of getting my BHR hooked before we head to Oregon. I would highly recommend Fraser cutters.

My BHR challenge Rug

Thought I would share the progress on my BHR. My wool stripper is in the shop for repairs I am still hoping to get this finished before I head to Oregon. It depends on how soon my wool cutter gets back.

The main photo isn't the best so I will try to get a better photo when I can lay it somewhere other then my queen size bed.
